I have to admit that I read Chapters 3 and 6 first. I like that, if you so choose, you can read the book out of sequence.

I will never get to search for Bigfoot on my own (or with others) so, reading about Ken's "outings" was exciting and informative. Reading the chapter on field notes was extremely interesting for me. Lack of finding remains of Bigfoot is a subject that I want to learn more about and this book helped greatly. Two of my favorite chapters are Chapter 3, "The Lack of Remains" and, Chapter 6 "Research Field Notes". He has written this book in a way that you don't have to be a Cryptozoologist to understand what he is talking about. Gerhard has covered the subject, Bigfoot, in great detail. "The Essential Guide to Bigfoot" is one of those books you will read, re-read and keep to refer to later. He currently lectures and exhibits at events across the United States. An avid adventurer, he has camped along the Amazon Jungle, explored the Galapagos Islands, hiked the Australian Outback and has visited many ancient and mysterious sites from Machu Pichu to Stonehenge to Australia, Thailand and Tunisia. Ken has traveled to twenty-six different countries on six continents and almost all of the United States.
